Thanks Isn't Enough, So I Blogged About It

This last month I have had an opportunity to reflect on the true value of friendship and how I have truly overlooked the quality of people I am lucky enough to be surrounded with.

This year is a big year for an education student as I and most of my friends are. We are all competing for the few spots in the Middle Years program and the transfer spots in various schools. However you all find the time to be such a great support system when I struggled through *whisper* astronomy *cringe*. You all have tucked my in on my rougher nights and taken me out for supper when I needed a pick me up after that EDIT final (I still refuse to believe we learned most of that) or when I was afraid I would have to retake KPED.

Last year was a really hard year moving away and having to make new friends (which was more difficult than I led you to believe), because I have a comfort zone, believe it or not, although it is quite small. But you all were smiling, and I am so glad all of you came back for a second year as everything is turning out much easier now I have you.

I can’t count the number of times I have texted or called many of you close to tears from the library or hiding in a corner somewhere and you have made it okay. Whether it was a hot tub date, burning frustrations out at work out, spiking my juice, driving me home through a blizzard,  listening or simply telling me to calm myself, I cannot tell you how much all those little things mean to me. You all truly are the friends I will keep and have in the future and I like being reminded I have chosen so well.

There are my friends I have always counted on who brighten my day with the “hey remember when….,” texts, or the simple good mornings that have set me up for the days when I needed incentive to get out of bed. I love the fact we have been through everything and you are forever friends. Although we may not talk every day, know that I will always be grateful for you in my life and all the shenanigans we have went through growing up.

It truly is a miracle I got through exam week and my six classes last semester which is thanks to many encouraging words and late nights sitting/ texting at the library. Although taco time is a great stress reliever someone telling you school is peanuts in life is sometimes all you need to hear, because that English paper will get written it’s just a question of quality.

I am so glad I have super parents who have always told me they love me no matter what. Knowing I can call you while I wait for AMA to get to the scene of my stupidity of locking my keys in my car or go home to raid the freezer and for a hug will always be irreplaceable.

Now obviously I’m overly sappy being I dropped my only lifeline the iPhone in the toilet this afternoon and have just wrote two midterms In six hours, I also wrote a blog for Nellis and if that doesn’t make you feel warm and fuzzy I don’t know what will. I know I don’t tell you all nearly enough how much I appreciate you all and this week has been a real reminder of how amazing you all are.
